About
Longhua District

Longhua District has undergone a remarkable transformation from a functional area to an official administrative district. On Dec. 30, 2011, the new district of Longhua was established, incorporating Bao’an’s Longhua and Guanlan townships. On Jan. 7, 2017, it officially became an administrative district. Covering a total area of 175.6 square kilometers, Longhua District has jurisdiction over six subdistricts: Guanhu, Minzhi, Longhua, Dalang, Fucheng, and Guanlan. It also oversees 69 community workstations and 113 resident neighborhood committees. By the end of 2024, the actual population of the entire district was approximately 3 million. After years of foundational work and long-term development, Longhua has evolved into an ideal, vibrant and promising destination for entrepreneurs from around the world.
